and the figure of Re-Hor-Akhty stands over the entrance.
The Temple of Queen Nefertari is located 120
metres from the Temple of Ramses II and was also built by Ramses II, dedicated
to the Goddess Hathor and to his wife Queen Nefertari. Queen Nefertari was King
Ramses II's principal and most beloved wife. It is also a rock-cut Temple with
a facade of about 28 metres long and 12 metres high, which contains six
standing colossi, each of which is about 11 metres tall, four of which
